Membership at WCC means fulfilling Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20:
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
What does this look like? We express it in three core values.
GOD REALLY MATTERS: He is relational by His very nature: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He wants relationship with all people. God reveals His holy yet merciful nature through His only Son Jesus Christ and desires to be a transforming presence in each person’s life through His Holy Spirit.
THE LOST REALLY MATTER: People and relationships matter so much to God that He sent His only Son to die at the hands of the human race He was trying to save. Jesus' death was a payment for our sins. Faith in who Jesus is and what He did justifies a person before God, who is holy. Jesus’ subsequent resurrection verified His deity and His promise to return. When He comes again, he will take all who call Him Lord to be with Him forever in a new heaven and earth.
FAMILY REALLY MATTERS: Family, by definition is relational. The purpose of God’s family is not only to bring the lost into spiritual birth, but to also nurture family members to ever increasing levels of maturity. This happens best in small groups where the intent is to make disciples. A complete/mature disciple by definition is one who grows into someone who is coming alongside God in the work He is doing to make disciples. Thus, when we say ‘family really matters,’ we are saying the relational disciple making process really matters.

Ministry Leaders
Pastors: Serve as the overseers to communicate God’s Word, minister to spiritual needs and provide biblical leadership. Individual pastors may take the lead in management responsibilities, worship, family and youth outreach, and in church operations.
Elders: Carry the ultimate responsibility and authority to see that the church remains on a true biblical course; that it’s members are being appropriately shepherded, that the body is being fed through insightful and accurate biblical teaching, and that the life of the church is being well managed with the assistance of competent and godly leaders.
Ministry Team Leaders: Sustain those church functions which support our church family and facilitate outreach programs that serve as a means to connect with the local community and the world. Some samples would include retreats for all ages, education for children & youth, and outreach events. (refer to the nomination list at the Vision Banquet)
ACT’s Groups: Small groups of members and visitors meet on a weekly basis in a local home to share the leading of the Holy Spirit to understand the scriptures better and apply it to their lives. Its intent is to know in our minds the scriptures, assimilate it to our hearts, and apply it through the application of our actions.
Little School of the West: Ministers and educates the pre-school age children from our church family and from people outside of our church. The school is a vital part of our church’s outreach to reach children and parents to the teachings and values embodied in the Word of God.
Office Staff: Provide the initial contact for members and visitors to communicate needs, wants and questions. Office staff handles the connection with the appropriate and most effective person to handle a request of situation. They are the coordinator to meet the needs in the most efficient manner
