I quiet my mouth, kneel down and raise my requests to heaven, to the One and Only God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. The same One and Only God Who rescued the people of Israel from the Egyptian enslavement. I pray my requests to the One and Only God of the universe – the Maker of all. The King of Kings – Lord of Lords is listening to my cry and He will hear and answer me.

I hope in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God! For He has paid my price of sin. He alone has beat death & conquered the grave & He rules forever on earth and in the heavens.
Yes! My hope and trust is set in God the Father, Jesus Christ, & The Holy Spirit – in One… and in Him I will rejoice !!!

Collective Voice 2012: “More”
Collective Voice was awesome last Saturday night.
We had 5 church youth groups together worsghipping the Lord in song, prayer, communion, confession and expression.
It was a great time to gather as a group to lift the name of Jesus Christ!

The Old Crew
Hey…
Just so you know…the Old Crew (the old youth group group) got together for pizza last night in Cypress. We had a good time catching up and hangin out. It is interesting to see pictures on the wall in the youth room of these young kids and see them now grown up and growing up. Hopefully we can make a habit of doing that regularly. The group will be in our prayers.

Great Pumpkin Hunt was GREAT
Hey there.
For those of you who may have missed it, the Great Pumpkin Hunt was AWESOME ! We had a lot of youth from 5 or 6 churches in the area driving around the local area in search of the Great Pumpkin. There was lots of fun, candy, costumes, worship and a great Gospel presentation where kids made some decisions. All in all it was a really cool event.
The next upcoming event for Surrender is Acquire the Fire on Nov. 11-12. You don’t want to miss this event so sign up asap…tickets are going.

Collective Voice was Awesome!
Collective Voice was Awesome last Friday night! The youth from 6 or 7 churches combined to gather and worship the Lord. We had great worship and speaking through the Psalms. There were also 4 stations for the students to express themselves through drawing, painting, prayer, & confession. The picture above is a mosaic that everyone contributed to. Pretty Rad huh? It was really a joy to be a part of this event.

The Story of the Bible

beginning THIS Sunday, March 13th, Surrender will be storying through the Bible. Knowing how God’s story unfolds throughout Scripture connectinig story to story and person to person is truly amazing. This is going to be a great experience and nobody will want to miss out. We encourage you to come and be a part of learning in a new way.
