We are a family oriented church and welcome people at every age. Likewise, we have classes and Bible studies for people at every age. From nursery to those who have a wealth of life experiences, there are groups meeting every Sunday and Wednesday, as well as randomly throughout the week. Look below and see where you fit in. Children

West Cypress Church offers age appropriate classes for your children. We love to teach children about the Bible and how to live Godly lives, even at a young age. Sunday mornings we have two services: 9:00 am and 10:45 am. Nursery and Toddler age classrooms are located next to the sanctuary allowing easy no-hassle drop-off. Each parent is given a pager to keep good, ongoing communication during the services. Preschool thru 5th graders meet upstairs in room #202. Kids worship is held during the second hour and then the children are divided to attend their weekly class. We welcome you and your family to join us also on Wednesday nights @ 6:30 pm. Preschool – 5th graders will experience a monthly theme with games, activities, worship, memory verses and teaching that coordinates with the theme.

Childcare is provided for nursery and toddler age children on Wednesday nights also.

Youth Ministry: Surrender

HEY……..Before you read this…you should just know that if you are a youth (jr.high / high school)…you  won’t want to miss ANYTHING with this youth group!

For those kids who find themselves in grades 6th -12th, we have a great program. It is -Surrender! We are a group of kids learning how to get through this tough period of life, -and learning how to do it in a way that pleases Jesus. We value Jesus, people, and -fun…and all that each of those involve.

-Our goal is to teach the Gospel in a way that the kids can learn it and teach it to others. We want all kids to know that we love them and more importantly, that God loves them, unconditionally.

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am and Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm – 8pm. We have a blast hangin out and worshipping the Lord together. We have great worship, games, and Bible time. We have activities throughout the summer as well as random events going on whenever.

  • Wednesday nights going deeper on the 2nd Coming

  • Wednesdays at 6:30 we follow up on the Sunday morning series ‘The 2nd Coming’. We’ll be taking the time to look at more scripture and include more discussion. Each Wednesday will stay on topic from the previous Sunday. Our goal is to have a view consistent with the Bible. Some events are absolutey clear, some mysterious, and some unknown. False views come with strong warnings. We will identify where the text lands in regards to these four areas. We do not want to add anything to the word of God nor take anything away.

  • When I quiet my mouth, when I kneel down, And when I raise my requests to heaven – I do not do it in vain, I do not do it with mere guessing – I do not plead to an unknown source, or something that does not hear.
    No,
    I quiet my mouth, kneel down and raise my requests to heaven, to the One and Only God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.  The same One and Only God Who rescued the people of Israel from the Egyptian enslavement.  I pray my requests to the One and Only God of the universe – the Maker of all.  The King of Kings – Lord of Lords is listening to my cry and He will hear and answer me.
    I do not hope in nothing or in fate –
    No,
    I hope in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God!  For He has paid my price of sin.  He alone has beat death & conquered the grave & He rules forever on earth and in the heavens.
    Yes!  My hope and trust is set in God the Father, Jesus Christ, & The Holy Spirit – in One… and in Him I will rejoice !!!

  • First Place 4 Health – Motivated to Wellness 12 week study, May 2nd

  • This ministry stengthens the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental aspects of our God given make up. Men and Women are welcome to this Bible based, Christ centered approach. The Motivated to Wellness series begins Wednesday May 2 in room 102 on the bottom floor of our educational wing just off the courtyard. Cost is $15 for the book. The time frame is from 6:30 – 8 PM. There are ministry programs for both children and youth that run simultaneously but are unrelated to First Place Four Health. For further info contact Cyndy at baeder@sbcglobal.net. Health issues can be so discouraging, come and get some encouragent for a change that will last.
